Hi guys,
my first post here. I'm Australian and based in Hamburg. I'm learning
German but I am not yet good enough to communicate well here in German,
please forgive my use of Englisch.
First, I'd like to thank Kirk1701 for inspiring me with his post, "Pimping
my Silvercrest" -

Using
His list of parts, I made the following changes,
They assemble like this,
The copper pipe was further cut and squashed a little so as to make an
interferance fit with the brass elbow,
- be careful when assembling, I used a metal washer on the outside and
did it up too tight and cracked the enamel
I use the BIAB method so I added this IKEA spatter screen to help keep the
bag off the bottom of the pot,
Here's the outside of the pot with a quick release brass garden hose
fitting attached,
...and I use an Electrolux Dishwasher Pump to recirculate the wort back
onto the top of the mash, it works quite well... (video of it in operation
on my older pot,

Lastly, my new setup.
I hope you enjoy my alternative setup.
p.s. In the future I intend to add a stainless steel bag to my pot, much
like this one that I used a few years back, in a small stove top system in
Hanoi, Vietnam...
(Update 8.10.2013)
Here's a video of my system in action.
http://youtu.be/EEo0ewfHhqA The pot shown above got
burnt out somehow, (Anyone know if they have an overtemp reset switch? It
doesn't even power up...) so now I'm on my second and last pot. Hopefully
it'll last the distance.
