Greetings Brewmasters Dude,
I am over here in Texas and having been trying to get a message
through.
I am brewing DME with Fermintis, 'Safale 56' and 'S-04' yeast today.
Having just bought another 55 Lbs of DME,
I am endeavoring to not only get my brewery full,
but to work on my German too.
The bablefish translator won't work so I'll just send this message in
English.
I am 25% German, Peeler, von Dorn and von Strapp.

Prost Ya'll

Question:
Which button is for a follow up post?
I have been trying to figure that one out,
is it this 'antworten'?
Guess I will know that, if it works.

Antworten is answering post, like in Spanish,
before = des pues.
After = antes
So... in German:
like in Spanish, 'an' refers to after,
and 'wort' I know that one,
anwort = afterword.
Pretty good for the second day huh?
But how do I check PM's?
Thanks ClaudiusB

Hello and welcome at the German Hobbybrauer Forum,
Zitat: | Pretty good for the
second day huh? |
yeah, speaking German isn´t as difficult as it seems, even the young
children here they can speak German already
Zitat: | But how do I check
PM's? |
have a look at the left side of the main page, maybe you have to scroll
down a little bit, there is a list of users they are online:
" Onlineliste"
underneath you can see a button " info"
below that button there is written "private Nachrichten" (privat messages)
that´s the link you have to use.
Cheers mate

Hello J. Winters Knife,

multilingual.
Welcome to this forum, which in our opinion is pretty good.

Hallo JacktheKnife,
Here is my Mex.Spanish.
The word antes means before, to go back means retroceder, regresar.
Rückwärts means hacia atras, reves , etc.
Many times you can not translate a word literally.
Man kann nicht jedes Wort wörtlich übersetzen, man muss den
Sinnzusammenhang (context) wissen.
Cheers,
ClaudiusB
