Hello, i have a problem, i live in Sweden and it is almost impossibe to get
hold of new beerbottles here. It has come to my knowledge that some small
breweries in Sweden buy bottles from Germany and wondering if anyone have a
webadress or a company name to some companys that provides empty beer
bottles?
My ambition is to buy many, in sweden i only found one company that have
what i want, but i think that they are too expensive..
So do anybody know where to buy empty beer bottles in Germany??
Thank you
Regards Mattias
PS. I dont speek German but English is no problem

Hello Mattias!
Perhaps the transport costs from Brouwland, Belgium are cheaper than from Germany.
For instance, 1 fliptop bottle 0,5l (brown, without closure) pays -,92
Euros, perhaps they give a discount for larger batch.
They also mention two distributors of their products in Sweden.
Greetings!
Uwe

Hellmann Getränketechnik ( http://www.hellmann24.de) offers bottles also in lots
suitable for homebrewers, but for me also quite expensive: 0,78 Euro for a
single bottle, but only 0.45 Euro when you buy a complete pallet of 1845
bottles. ____________________ Gruß vom Berliner

Hi Mattias,
as mentioned by Dirk, Oberland Glas of the Saint Gobain Group is an
excellent supplier. The cheapest would be of course a complete box with
1500 bottles and by the way the only way to purchase direct from a factory.
For 1500 bottles you might pay 300 or 350 € depending on what kind of
bottle...
Transportation might be another 150 € to sweden
Another good adress is: http://www.wiegand-glas.de/
best regards
Beny
