I will now give braupartner.de a bad review  If you are looking for customer service, then
STOP and don't purchase from Braupartner.de
I recently shopped at http://www.hobbybrauerversand.de/ instead and was
truely amazed by how good a shop they are.
I purchased a pumo at braupartner.de, it was dead on arrival and never
worked. Mr. Klaus Kling himself will not replace the pump. His reason, I
direct wired the pump to power and therefor voided the Garantie 
Das ist total quatsch, I did not void
Garantie by simply cutting the cable. I find this to be typical German red
tape and no customer service.
So Mr. Klaus Kling, I will not support your business, nor recommend you to
others and strongly suggest you shop at HuM instead.

Ich hätte von ihm auch nichts anderes erwartet.
Hatte vor einiger Zeit mal Mailkontakt mit ihm, um ihn auf
Rechtschreibfehler und fachliche Fehler aufmerksam zu machen. Nach seiner
Antwort würde ich dort auch nichts mehr bestellen.
Die Fehler hat er nicht korrigiert. Es scheint ihm wohl egal zu sein, was
man über ihn denkt.
Warum das feste Verkabeln der Pumpe diese zerstört haben sollte weiß ich
auch nicht, könnte mir aber vorstellen, dass er sie dann nicht mehr beim
Hersteller los wird.

Hi Birk,
running a company in germany, i´m quite familar with similar problems. If
you buy anything, it should be o.k. If not, the seller may try to fix the
trouble for two times. If he is not able, than you have the choice:
1. Get som money back (Minderung)
2. Get a new product (Wandelung)
3. Send it back and get the whole money back (Rücktritt).
But if a product is modified by the customer, warranty is not valid any
more. That´s , shortly said, what german law says.
I try to solve this problems in offering an maintainance. When it´s
absolutely clear, that there is a so called "hidden problem", the customer
get´s a new product for free. If not, well, then we make an offer for
fixing the problem. Often it´s more economic to buy a new thing.
I can´t see anything, that went wrong.

I believe that legally he is in his rights, wich doesn't mean he isn't
being a jerk, try contacting the manufacturer of the pump directly and see
if they are willing to help.
Personally I nevever bought anything from them but always ordered at HuM.

Right or wrong, legal or not and yes I am mad about it, I think that a
simple cut in a power cable should not void what the real problem is and
that being that the pump never worked because the motor is bad or something
along those lines. Sure take away a certain percent for the cable that
needs to be replaced, however, to say that you will not do anything at all
as Mr. Klaus Kling did I find to be not in order.

So folks this brings up a need for me, I now need another pump and am
looking to purchase one if you have one. If you know of one please point me
in the right direction. I am looking for a pump that is capable of handling

I am still in love with the high pressure burner. Next time we have to take
a video with sound to bring the feeling over the monitors.
For me it was a really fantastic event to brew with this two men.
More later , have to go to watch soccer.
Ich bin immer noch verliebt in den Hochdruckbrenner. Das nächste mal
müpssen wir ein Video mit Ton machen um das Gefühl zu vermitteln. Es war
ein toller Brautag und ich würde gerne wieder mit diesen beiden brauen.
Mehr später, ich muss zum Fussball in die Kneipe.

Ja, das war ein erfolgreicher Brautag heute - wie erfolgreich genau, werden
wir in sechs Wochen wissen...
Es hat riesigen Spaß gemacht, mit den Beiden Daniels imposante Anlage
einzuweihen. Konzipiert mit drei Hunderliter Töpfen, ist sie gut für 80
Liter Ausschlagmenge, heute waren 40 Liter geplant - das Rezept hatte
Daniel hier schon einmal gepostet:

Mit single infusion, also Kombirast, überschaubar kompliziert für den
ersten Lauf und die kleinen Pannen, die immer bei so einer Premiere
auftreten, konnten wir mit viel Improvisionstalent in den Griff kriegen.
Dazu gab es leckeres vom Barbeque - also ein perfekter Tag.
Für das nächste Mal haben wir uns vorgenommen, ein Video aufzunehmen.
Allein das Brennergeräusch, vergleichbar mit einer startenden F16, ist ein
Erlebnis.

Das wäre wohl tatsächlich die einfachste Lösung, einen Bypass zu machen.
Wie sähe es denn mit einer elektronischen Lösung aus?
Reicht bei diesem Motor ein Dimmer oder muss es ein Frequenzrichter oder
Phasenanschnitt sein?

Bei einer Kreiselpumpe kann man einfach die Druckseite drosseln. Die kannst
Du auch gegen ein geschlossenes Ventil laufen lassen.

Wenn ich für Daniel antworten darf: Die Pumpe liess sich ohne murren mit
dem Kugelhahn auf null Durchlass stellen, bzw. mit dem Kugelhahn
regulieren.
